WHAT IS IT? "This I Believe" is an international project engaging people in writing, sharing, and discussing the core values that guide their daily lives. These short statements of belief are written by people from all walks of life. They are archived here and featured on public radio in Canada, the US, and on NPR.
1) Go to the "This I Believe" website - This I Believe 2) Explore the website and get a feel for what the organization is all about. 3) Read through some of the essays submitted to the organization. You may want to look under: Most Viewed Essays, Browse Essays, or Advanced Search. 4) Find one "I Believe" essay that you enjoyed and/or connected with. Print it out or write down a summary of the essay. You will need it for an upcoming class discussion and assignment. WRITING INSTRUCTIONS:
